MAIIAM Art Museum
MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum is an architectural landmark in Chiang Mai where industrial design, creative heritage, and modern art seamlessly come together. Housed in a transformed former warehouse, the space draws aesthetic inspiration from local northern Thai culture and contemporary minimalism, creating a platform dedicated to showcasing world-class Thai and regional art.
We chose to photograph MAIIAM because the space possesses a distinct visual identity shaped by its iconic exterior wall clad in thousands of mirror tiles. We wanted to highlight how this reflective facade captures the surrounding sky, trees, and light, creating dynamic geometric reflections and clean lines that interact effortlessly in front of our lens. All of this allows us to achieve a sleek, modern visual narrative with rich texture and natural color grading.
